Questions about production are asked every day, and all of them sound ordinary. The answer usually lives with one person rather than in a system, and only while that person is there.

Which order is late?

the plan is in a spreadsheet, the fact is in the supervisor's head, and the date was promised two days ago without checking material or capacity.

What is inside serial number 0431?

the unit was built and shipped, and the component batches with their certificates have to be reconstructed from delivery notes and memory.

Under which revision was it built?

engineering released a change, the routing map at the workstation stayed old, and nobody can say which unit the new revision started with.

Which licence covers this shipment?

the licence exists, the remaining quantity lives in a separate file, and the end user was last screened six months ago.

These questions are not asked out of curiosity. They come from the customer, the military representative, a licence audit and your own finance director. Assembled by hand, an answer costs a week in the archive and still stays approximate — and approximate is easy to spot.

One system, not an integration

How much of the defence requirement set we really cover

We scored the product against the Ukrainian defence-manufacturing requirement matrix: 29 business requirements, judged strictly — "met" means the whole requirement can be completed in the product today. The result is 25 met, 2 partial, 2 not met. There is no register of state-secret clearances and no catalogue sync with DOT-Chain Defence; the evidence pack for a licence audit and product configuration management are partial.
